Roland Juno 106 Samples

Well, what can we say about the Roland Juno 106 that hasn't been said already? Yes all the superlatives have been thrown at this sound machine and more but all that really needs to be said is that some believe it to be the finest synthesizer Roland has ever produced (well maybe except for the Jupiters). Defective Nation believe this to be true for some specific genres of dance music but we have to be honest and say we prefer the creamier tones of the Juno 60. There is much debate about the differences between these two synths but you really need to have superb examples of each to notice the multitude of subtle differences that make the Juno 106 the bad boy, more raucous and aggressive that the smooth and creamy Juno 60. We hope that you agree that we have managed to capture some of the highlights in this huge (3 DVDs with some formats) selection of Roland Juno 106 samples, recorded at 24-bit resolution on high quality pro equipment. The Juno 106 keyboard is 5 octaves but, through the use of midi, we have recorded an additional octave to extend the use of the excellent 106 sounds.
