Korg DW8000DVD 8 of our 10 DVD collection, of sounds from the Korg DW8000 synthesizer, contains 71 different sounds which are all listed below. These sounds have been created using the DW8000 synth only. This synthesiser was the first Korg synth to use digital waveforms (which they called DWGS) of which 16 were available to run through a 24db analogue filter and analogue amplifiers. Unfortunately the DW8000 did not allow for patches to be named as the display obly allowed for bank and patch number. This tyoe of system is problematic in that you have to remember exactly what numbers relate to what sounds. It also makes our job of listing the patches somewhat more difficult than usual.
